White Rose Kitchen

Where food justice meets the kitchen table: raw, vegan, wholesome food made in devotion to the earth that grows them.

I I have always had a passion for food and cooking, for experimenting with recipes and different styles of cooking and for hosting events where food became center stage. What I offer at White Rose Kitchen is not just food, though, but nourishment. Nourish Me is the thread that runs through everything I do: the belief that healing happens in the body as much as the soul, and that how we feed our body temple is never separate from how we grieve, grow and become whole.

When you sit in grief, nourishment is the last thing on your mind. You eat to fill the emptiness within your heart, not your body. Cooking a wholesome meal, sitting down at a table, caring for your body can often feel out of reach. White Rose Kitchen exists because I believe that returning to nourishment is part of healing, not separate. This thread weaves together all of my ministry work from my counseling sessions to farm talk to the kitchen.

White Rose Kitchen offers raw and vegan food made from real ingredients, rooted in food justice and earth democracy and my love for the ʻāina where I live. I am passionate about supporting Hawaiian farmers and that we, who live here, eat wholesome food grown locally.

One day White Rose Kitchen will have a home of its own - a farm to table cafe where I can cook, teach and offer you nourishment. In the meantime you can find my goodies at fthe Volcano Sunday farmer’s markets on the Big Island, Hawaiʻi,
